Accounts Semi-Senior

The selected candidate will be assigned a diverse portfolio of International clients, with varying accounting requirements. The Accounts Semi-Senior will make part of a dedicated team, providing assistance to junior staff, but at the same time receiving support as needed from senior colleagues.

Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing a portfolio of International clients;
  • Bookkeeping and preparation of periodic management accounts;
  • Preparing Financial Statements for audit, in accordance with applicable reporting standards;
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns and recap statements;
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met;
  • Operating as an effective point of contact for all matters specific to the clients assigned; and
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Knowledge, skills and experience

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be currently reading for an ACCA or ACA qualification;
  • Be proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel);
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Have a minimum of one-year work experience in a similar position; and
  • Be able to work both on own initiative and in a team.
