Malta is one of the best countries to obtain a second citizenship

Malta has been named as one of the best countries to obtain a second citizenship according to a study from The Independent Travel.

The study examines countries on the ‘seven pillars of CBI’ and are ranked accordingly on: freedom of movement, standard of living, minimum investment outlay, mandatory travel or residence, citizenship timeline, ease of processing and due diligence. Relocating to Malta is considered to be a lot easier when compared to most of the countries also offering second citizenship.

Acquiring second citizenship gives the right to the main applicant and any additional dependants to live, work and study anywhere within the European Union.
